The range of planned actions includes a panel discussion on energy development in Africa, under the theme “Accelerating access to energy in Africa”.
Angola was invited to this conference, which runs from 23 to 26 this month. The Angola delegation led by João Lourenço also includes the Minister of State and Economic and Social Development, Manuel Nunes Júnior, the Minister of Economics and Planning Pedro Luís da Fonseca, the Minister of Energy and Water João Baptista Borges and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Augusto.
Ten Heads of State and Government of Africa, nine from the Middle East and North Africa and six from Latin America are expected for this year’s edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Confirmed on the line-up are French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Theresa May among other Heads of State of Western Europe.
